Services, Amenities & Cost

Residents pay a monthly charge for a beautiful,
two-room suite. The monthly fee covers many services and amenities. However, no applicant will
be denied admittance for lack of ability to pay.

Dining

Meals are served at noon during the week in our elegant dining room by a friendly and helpful staff. Family and friends are always welcome to join our residents for a nominal fee. Residents can prepare breakfast and evening meals in their suite or may visit one of the area’s local eating establishments.

Utilities and Maintenance

Utilities including water, heating, air conditioning and electricity are included in the monthly fee. Telephone service and cable television are the responsibility of the resident. However, each suite is wired for telephone and cable television. A public telephone is conveniently located on the second floor lounge area for use by residents or guests. Maintenance needs are handled by our friendly staff.

Mail

The local post office delivers and picks up mail daily. Residents have their own personal mailbox.

Activities

Spiritual, cultural, social, and recreational activity programs are designed with the residents in mind. Attendance is encouraged since positive activity has many worthwhile effects on all persons, but participation is strictly voluntary. Planned activities and events take place within the Center, on the Campus, as well as away from the Center. Wellness is key to a healthy lifestyle and there are regularly scheduled activities for keeping up endurance, strength, and maintaining energy. Exercise groups and walking groups are all part of the wellness program that the Center has for those who wish to participate. See Ministry Teams.

Amenities

The Center is attractively designed and includes many wonderful, spacious lounge areas. Each two-room suite includes a full bath, kitchen with cabinetry, sink, refrigerator, microwave, stove, living room, bedroom, and private balcony. Every suite has approximately 525 square feet of space and features carpeting and individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

Cost to Residents

The Center is a state of the art facility with significant operating expenses. The monthly charge to the resident is based upon one’s ability to pay. The amount will be determined after consultation between the prospective resident and the Center. Each prospective resident is personally interviewed by a member of the Center’s staff.

The amount not paid by the resident must be raised by the Center through offerings, scholarships, sponsorships and grants. However, no applicant is denied admittance for lack of ability to pay.
