Purpose: To present healing steps to those who have experienced loss; to make our community and churches aware of the “recovery” need and the help available.
- Lead classes for newly widowed persons
- Develop classes and materials for various grief recovery classes
- Interact with outside resource advocate agencies in order to provide resources which deal specifically with senior issues
- Set up meetings with guest speakers to promote and renew classes
- Speak at churches, groups, organizations and conferences to bring awareness of the recovery need.
