Deut 14:28-29 NIV - “. . . bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.”
Purpose: to reach out beyond the walls of the WMC, our campus and community. To make items to raise funds to provide housing and/or food for hungry widows and the fatherless in third world countries.
- Developing craft possibilities: quilting, oil painting, jewelry making, and “comfort cushions” (socks filled with rice and put inside pillow cases made
by widows and prayed over)
- Develop displays for meetings and tours which reflect ongoing projects done by widows.
