Judith Nichols Moore Executive Director

Judith brings 25 years of nursing and management experience to the position of Director of the Iris B. Vest Widows Ministry Center. Prior to accepting her position with the Widows Center, she served as Administrative Manager of East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She is a registered nurse and a graduate of University of St. Francis with a bachelor's degree in Health Arts.

Judith was appointed to The Widows Ministry Center and accepted the call to widows ministry in the 2003. This was exciting, finding herself with the challenge of a new concept of ministry in the church world. As Director, Judith oversees operations of the Iris B. Vest Widows Ministry Center. She serves on the International Council of Widows Ministry. An author and speaker, she tells the story of the widows and shares with others the biblical mandate of & caring for the widows (James 1:2)7.

Judith is involved in helping churches across the United States develop and maintain a widows ministry for their local congregations. She is also involved in assisting and empowering widows in third world countries.
